The Mars Volta's upcoming album, The Bedlam in Goliath, due out in February, is going to blow all music out of the water. As long as you don't mind rock/experimental/psychadelic/progressive/jazz/electronic, this album might make you cry tears of not-worthy-ness. It has been labeled by many non-biased individuals whom have been blessed enough to hear first-hand the new CD throughout the recording/mixing/mastering process that Bedlam in Goliath is "The best Mars Volta album yet." and "This album is going to blow you away."

I have the proof right here in a 29 second, 453.96 KB clip of what is labeled as "Track 2" from the album which was released to the general public:

Also look for a single from the album early November.

For their newest album In Rainbows, Radiohead has chosen to go on their own label to produce the CD. While still able to buy a boxset with physical formats (CDs and Vinyls) of the album, you can also download the album in .mp3 format with an activation code.

Here's the thing though: You choose the price that you pay for the activation code.

This might just set the new standard for CD purchasing. It was done initially to prove money can be made without the help of corporate record labels.

Any love for Hella? I started listening to There's No 666 In Outer Space again, and I forgot how awesome Hella is.

Anyone listen to these godly people? I've not listened to maudlin of the Well, but this is a sort of continuation of it with Toby Driver and Mia Matsumiya.

Def. recommend if you don't mind some heavy experimental.
