All the spriting stuff you need. But like most everyone has said, taking someone else stuff (ooc: else's is not a word apparently but Else's is?) and passing it off as your own is wrong. Get someone's permission, if not that. credit them AT THE VERY LEAST. If you don't then you are ripe pickings for angry mob mode. I would suggest messaging or posting in the artist's topic to ask for permission next time.

I would suggest using FE8 outline because some of your colors are darker then the outline.

EDIT: I am pretty lazy, so I just made my earlier image transparent is all.

Fair enough. I only wanted the wings to be feathered, anyway. Figured I may as well ask

Pegasaus= Has feathers. If it needs feathers, Pegasaus is the way to go.

Not that my opinion matters, but aren't Wyverns reptiles? Reptiles don't have feathers, they have scales. Unless some kind of weird magical cross-breeding happened.

Of course I am joining this one because Raven is my favorite character

I guess to warrant the post, I was wanting to be nice because I had already seperated armor pieces I thought I would post them to use.

(IMG:http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y232/pieisface/SomehelpHeathsplice.png)

Good Luck All!

EDIT: Things are starting to get... Hairy *gets shot for using terrible pun*

(IMG:http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y232/pieisface/SomehelpHeathsplice2.png)

Just noting I did mess up a little on Heath's hair. The Gray part some of it is the light blue background. I believe the color is the Light Gray. Again, sorry.

Maybe -if we introduced the skill system- could allow either more attack power/accuracy with a weapon, or a deal where that weapon speciality has +1 weapon level. IE 1 Skill point for Light Swords for a D Level user would make them able to wield Light Swords as if they were C while every other sword is D. The problem comes if the character gets to S.

Still, a person with mastery over a weapon (movie example is the knife guy from Braveheart, or any of the main characters from LotR) would be that much more exceptional in combat against someone who is not mastered the weapon. Besides my Skill Point suggestion, I don't really have a solution on how Mastery could work.

Maybe since summoning gets 2 Summons, realistic versions of Dual-Wielding (I guess greater accuracy/distance for Archers. Dual-Crossbows would be nigh impossible to reload without getting slaughtered) would be a solution. Someone who only practices with a sword and knows the ins and outs of it could dual wield (same as axes as shown with Gimli from Lord of the Rings). Once again though, Lances I can't see realisticly dual-wieldable (unless you are doing Poi "Double Staff").

Anyways, my post is scattered, but you might find something useful out of there.

Well Foe's description of it makes more sense. I wasn't sure how to word it correctly. I think where my description and his differs is the fact that I tried to keep the staff to what effect vague on purpose. I think I have heard someone say that it would be kind of silly and heavy to carry around 2-3 staffs, but I think that a single staff would be universal.

The way I see it was that a caster would cast the spell they were focused on and it would be directed through the orb to the target(s). This is probably a bad analagy (sp?), but does any other game/movie/universe use multiple staffs for different effects (like specific effects)? Gandalf has 1 staff, in Shining Force they have different staffs, but the only affect atk power, and (insert game/other media here). Since Fire Emblem does not have a spell/summon list to search through, instead they made different staffs. So realistically, I don't think that one needs to put multiple orbs on a staff or carry around multiple staffs.

Anyways... Bardic is hard to PC... I was obviously just giving suggestions on what each level could represent. The only thing that matters there is where I think the magic comes from, like the staff. Bardic is represented in Fire Emblem as movement or music to release the energy. Power... I didn't know where to stand on it, just giving suggestions. The minor/major movement/mind control part comes from RL magicians. I saw one where this magician bought jewelry with blank white pieces of paper, had someone give him their wallet, a mall one where he was speaking over the intercom for about a hour then said some stuff and made people freeze. Weird crap like that.

Finally, general question: should I use to new system to make a profile or the old one? EDIT: Nevermind.

Yeah... Maybe a little more... I haven't messed with it since that picture.

I like Shangela's the most. Speedy looks like Rebecca recolor thingy. IDK... I like Jaffar one the best.

I know who it is (Ezio), just the face and other parts don't seem Fire Emblem style shading and his arm has 2 things going wrong for him: unnecessary ruffles and pillow shading (darkest color at edge lightest in middle). Plus, no shadow from the hood=wtf? Thanks for advice. Like I said, may work on it later. Serene... I still have no idea what you are pointing out. The hood looks similar just flipped. Still has hood in the back. And honest opinion Shang: looks almost perfect. I guess my real beef is the attempt to do skin color neck. Just me of course, but I would just keep the orginal chin and make the hood a few pixels bigger. I see a weak point our bottom right where you have shade 3 coming down and then just stops for a few. Not sure if that is original face... But looks weird. Anyways... Just opinions.

E: Trying to figure out what Serene is saying....

Hood in back.

E2: Attempted to fix some things:
(IMG:http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y232/pieisface/Ezio-3.png)
Made head smaller, moved up the fold to about top of neck height, removed a little behind hood... Not much else.

I like the idea of that mug, but it has so much pillow shading on it's arm that is meh. And his face looks non-FE to me.

Anyways.... >_> I don't want to fix it right now because A) I am lazy and B) Refer to A. I might flip it though.
what I did: Click Here To Show/Hide This Text
I used Natasha for the robe and Generic Mask FE8 guy for the hood. Made the spike a little bigger, custom shaded the shadow.... I suck at customs so it did take a while. Plus I do everything in paint since PHOTO-GAY CS2 decides that it wants to quick recolor every close color, add shading tips through magical lasso (So I have to manually select and delete the background), and just all around pain in the butt to deal with sometimes. Plus side is it can transparent and make animations.

If I feel like it, I will work on it tonight.

I've thought about this last night and I could think of one reason based on descriptions to include staffs and bardic magic. (My staff one will have to be cleaned up, and bardic doesn't have a real description. Mostly just thought about where Bardic Magic comes from and what each level would contain)

staffs: Click Here To Show/Hide This Text
If the magic in question is of the healing sort, the motion of the magic is to manipulate ones body to regenerate, or in other ways change the appearance or status of an creature or person. One must focus on the desired different state and gather energy through ones body and spirit to release the desired effect. The complication comes in accurately targeting this focus to a specific point. If one user tried to cast without some sort of tool, the spell would scatter weakly in random directions. Most, if not all use a multi-purpose staff (multi-purpose because it can also be used as a weapon to defend oneself). An orb on the end works as a gatherer of the casters body and soul, which allows for careful redirection of its power to be cast on a specific target or area. Though not neccessary, a wooden shaft works as a transport from the casters body to their orb, but since the power of ones own soul is extremly powerful, without a transfer of energy causes an extraordinary amount of power that can, and will, shatter a casting orb. The main difference between offensive, elemental magics and staves is elemental magic uses tomes to visualize and manipulate elements externally, while mage users casting healing magic comes from the internal -body and spirit- to cast, aided by a staff to target their aura to a specific target or area.

Bardic barebones: Click Here To Show/Hide This Text
Bardic I was thinking is a magic that comes from movement, whether it be dance, song, or etc. Rings or other objects, such as a Strength ring, when worn amplify a certain effect much as a Strength ring amplifies ones own ability to fight. To catergorize this, E would be small effects that can change ones feelings. The more stable, the less effective. D would be a motivator/demotivator to fight offensively (comparison to whatever the extra turn dance/song from FE games). C can manipulate ones mind to simple illusions to either help or destract a target. B could be more elaborate illusions and low level body movement control. These would only be effective for small movements or a short time for incredibly unstable sentients. A would still be more potent of previous versions, plus total mood altering spells that were explained a little in E. S... Maybe we shouldn't even have S, but S could be very powerful illusions that only very strong-willed beings could resist fully, and spells that could temporarily control weak minded targets. The only downside to control is you must do whatever movement/song for the whole duration of the control.

Obviously I am not the final say, or even have a say (I don't even have a character currently). I am just throwing out my $0.02.

Missed a couple pixels on our left side (they are in the hair), and 2 or so pixels on our left side bottom (light blue pixels).

Shangela I like yours, so that is why I am trying to help. You have a few pixel "neck" that looks off. I want it to be a good competition. (IMG:style_emoticons/blue/yourmove.gif) (yourmove)

Edit: Shouldn't DP...

I voted Shangela. I really liked the color scheme of S_F's, but the shoulders look a little small. Speedy's may have been good, but the colors are blah. My opinion of course. It usually helps to use a previous characters colors. Oh and I think you don't have full FE8 outline there (near the belt strap at least).

And yes, I did use Farina because it is more feminine. Maybe I should have changed the color scheme up. Oh well. Just went with if Myrrh was still the same character. I could have gone with Gilliam color scheme but meh. I guess I could have kept the headband one, but I liked the none headband one better.

Hmmm... I thought about Matthew as a lord, but then I saw this diddy:
(IMG:http://fea.fewiki.net/ports/8e/myrrh.png)

Class: Melee Weapon unit (No Magic, Support, Villager, Manakate)

Basically if Myrrh had to use a weapon. I decided not to be extremly limited and make her a Heavy.

EDIT: My entry:
(IMG:http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y232/pieisface/loli-myrrh-trans.png)

Myrrh became a Heavy/Armor Knight. Why? Because she poked her eye out with a spatula.

And for the lolz
