My expert advice is Don't Do It.

Elsewise if you want ease and "fun" and all that, then by all means do not include a grading system.

If you want to bore yourself to tears you could always look at this guy's 0% growth rates playthroughs for just how actually easy these games are. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cb8uw5a-oX4

(I actually find it a bit interesting since while 0% growths means weaker units on the whole, it also removes EXP from being a concern and doesn't influence decisions.)

Most SRPGs with ranking systems have shit parameters for their ranks anyway.

What about just having this as a mode and you can enter any characters in it that you have, just that before the battle starts it randomizes their stats. That way you don't need to make separate characters just for this and each time you get a different result.

This is so much better, I can't imagine the majority of players would want to waste that much time on getting RNG screwed with entirely new characters they have to raise up.

Unless that ever forementioned campaign mode becomes a thing, I guess, which also seems a bit silly when there's plenty of hacks around if you just wanna play FE that isn't the actual games.

That said, I'm a very anti-RNG person in general, and this isn't really for me. :U

They have a variety of difficulties between their chapters, Nah and Gerome being the hardest, while Morgan* is quite easy.

Forgot to mention Donnel since I've never used him; also no good in a non-grind/babysitting play through. Otherwise, boringly powerful.

That's strange, I've been using Virion from the get-go and he doesn't even suck. Maybe I'm in the minority here?

I've never seen Virion be a problem, I bet Jack (somewhat justifiably) just doesn't like archers.

Awakening is basically impossible to screw up on that front, honestly, given how (easy) the whole thing is.

There's basically only 2 units that are hard to make good: Frederick and Ricken.

Frederick because his base stats are really low for his internal level which makes exp sluggish.

Ricken because he has the worst SPD stat/growth in the cast.

Additions to B: Mr. Sirius (as a duelist, as a tactician, easily above even Inan), Foe, Amoltamiss, Vongola.

WTF am I reading?

I only just noticed this thread but man, I suck at this game, Yzarc Drowsnam easily kicked my ass every time and no one even remembers him, I lost interest in FETO like 2 months into it.

Had fun being involved in the initial development and such but that's it. (Mostly pushing the growth rates so that stats always end on nice even values.)

Wait, was it the totally cool religious swastika or the super socially stigmatized nazi alternative swastika?

Obviously the totally cool religious swastika.

It's not like I'm half German or anything.

Oh yeah, not like I'm half German or anything either.

One of our current root admins is such because he cheated his way there through a very simple command.

Update would be swell.

The problem wasn't that he left, it was how he left, did not exactly handle it responsibly and pass access to the next person until months later when we finally up and asked him to do it cause nothing was happening.

Mods can't really tackle the bot problem at its core or I'd be putting more effort into it.

I'll be managing the thing, dunno about "running" it so much. Lard Garthaur has a good handle on the setting info, waiting until that's ready before moving on to the hub city stuff, and from there its mostly system things.
