Here it is. It's piece-wise; hopefully y'all still know what that means.

X = Displayed Hit

/X <= 50; Actual Hit = (X+(X^2)*20)/1000
\X >> 50; Actual Hit = 100 - ((100-X+((100-X)^2)*20)/1000)

The displayed answer is a number directly representing the percentage. Don't convert from a decimal, the formula already does that.

Using the formula:

If displayed hit = 5, then Actual hit = (5+(5^2)*20)/1000 = (5+500)/1000 = .505 = .505% (no conversion necessary; just slap on the percent sign and you're done)

If displayed hit = 95, then Actual hit = 100 - ((100-95+((100-95)^2)*20)/1000) = 100 - (5+(5^2)*20)/1000 = 100 - (5+500)/1000 = 100 - .505 = 99.495 = 99.495%

Yay, formula similarities. Anyway, if you still can't get the math down, shoot me up a PM or contact me some other way. Shouldn't be too difficult but I might have explained it really bad. (IMG:style_emoticons/blue/dry.gif)

Remember that for 50%, the formula at the top is what you want, not the bottom. Due to the way FETO's RNG works (as well as normal FE's), the actual percentage for that is slightly above 50%.

For hit 50 or less: (2(hit)^2+(hit))/10000
For hit greater than 50: 1- (2(miss)^2+(miss))/10000
