Hi you guys! Remember me? I sorta disappeared for a whole week there. Whoopsies. I kinda sorta have an excuse for all of that, though.

On March 9, my school began it's spring break week. We were allowed to go home for the week and sorta derp around before we got back into Mid-Term hell. I, for one, was totally excited and down for the derp.

I hopped in my car after my last 11:30 class got out and drove all the way back home. My house, unfortunately, has really shoddy internet in part to the wiring of my house. It's probably older than me at this point.

Anywho, I decided to celebrate my return by doing what any responsible, young adult should: studying for upcoming mid-terms Getting all kinds of crazy. I was at parties virtually every night until Tuesday.

Then...I fainted. During the day I was just walking down the street and all of a sudden everything just got darker and darker. I started seeing stars (which look more like burned dots rather than stars). I ended up hitting the pavement with my face directly, breaking my nose in the process.

When I woke up, half a day had passed and it was Tuesday night. I was in the hospital, with my parents dreadfully worried. The hospital kept me under observation for a few days (where the internet was also pretty shitty.) During that time I had more needles jammed inside of me than Barry Bonds.

I got home around..friday/Saturday (my dates may be a bit hazy. I was sleeping a lot after that.) I'm feeling much better now, and am fit enough to go to class.

Still. I missed you guys! I'm sorry for abruptly disappearing. Especially to S_F, who's contest I sorta poofed from; to Lysander for not uploading my character profile in time and probably making him think I was a total flake, to anyone I RP with who is probably wondering what happened to Marionetta and Magda. I'll try to get on all of that right away.

See ya'll around <3

Hi guys, I need all ya'lls help.

I've been using the same photobucket account for years for quite some time now. To upload a mug would take less than five seconds, regardless of the internet I used. Plus it was an easy click to auto copy the link to the image, or place the image itself right on the page.

However, within the past few days, that all changed. I've been trying to upload a mug for two days now, and it hasn't worked.

Whenever I try to load the mug (which is 4kb's big. It normally has a 2kb/sec loading time), it gets stuck between 31% and 37% while trying to load. There the loading times crawls to a low 0.02kb/sec. I've gone through three different internet servers: One for guests on campus, one for students on campus, and my own personal server at home today. All had the same issue.

I tried to scale down the image but that did nothing. I tried to clear my cache, but that did nothing. I tried to make a new photobucket, but that had the same problem. I tried restarting my laptop on multiple occasions, so no dice.

I'm ideally either looking for someone to tell me what wrong with my photobucket (which is a total long shot) or for someone to recommend a similar image hosting site.

So, any suggestions?

Summary: Passionate, Flamboyant, Lively. All of these words have been often used to describe the young lady of Valhassa. More often than not, it is non other than Marionetta who describes herself as such. Others tend to have much harsher words to say about her. Usually selfish, arrogant, or nosy fall under the general category of insults directed at her. However mad anyone may be with her actions, no one would ever have the gall to insult her to her face. She is typically very passionate around friends, bringing up lively debate and dishing out her own input on the latest news from all the world.

Always desiring to be "in-the-know" about all the worlds events, Marionetta is a very itinerant noblewoman. Rather than spend her days cooped up in the castle with her husband, she'd much rather be seeing the world with her very own eyes. This travel is all lovingly accommodated by her husband, who's very generous. At least, he certainly is with his gold. However when she returns, she's always quick to throw a welcoming home party. She floods the room with stories of her "exotic" travel trips to foreign countries far from the isle of Valhassa.

Despite her outwardly brash personality, there are some deeper elements to the woman. Hidden truths she masquerades with her flamboyant personality. Trapped in a loveless marriage; no doubt exacerbated by three unfortunate miscarriages, she's a very lonely woman. She understands fully well that her new "friends" despise her and only tolerate her because of her position. It's a sad life, but one all too common for those in high classes.

Appearance: Standing in at 5'6 feet (1.4 Meters) and weighing in at 135 pounds (61.2 Kilograms), the shapely Valhassan beauty stands tall. Her natural height is all the more bolstered by her knee high heeled boots, giving her an apparent height of 5'11. These shoes, a wonderfully pristine white with golden trimmings accent the coloring of her white robes. They give her the appearance of a holy woman, which is enforced by the tomes of light she carries in her light brown satchel. Despite this being her primary traveling robe, she's known widely for changing her attire at the blink of an eye. She has vast amounts of dresses and decorations carried along with her. As always, she intends to make a scene.

Her main robe, the white and gold holy robe, does well to match her fair skin tone. Her pale skin naturally stems from her mother's influence. Raised to be a lady, Marionetta takes lengths to keep her skin shielded from sunlight.

Her light blonde hair, also a gift from her mother, is held up into whatever fashion style is trending. As of now, she wears it in a high ponytail, accented with a golden clip. Usually her hair is kept away from her face to show off her dazzling blue eyes. Her large doe eyes stand out from the otherwise small features of her face. Her nose is small and petite, her lips are small and rounded, and her cheekbones melt into her face, giving her a round facial shape.

Part 1: The Demon Wars of Valhassa
Marionetta was born the second of two daughters to the du le Dolche noble house. Five years after the birth of the eldest daughter, Marionetta was a much desired addition to the family.

The du le Dolche family has had their hands intertwined in Valhassa's history. As remnants of a former nobility, the du le Dolches managed to stand beside their Holy Emperor, Sebastion Marmaduke, and offer exceptional aid in liberating the state from demons. When their funds dipped dangerously low, the family gritted their teeth and stuck out their financial woes. Surely, they thought, life will be better once the demons are exercised from the land.

And so they spent and spent. The financial burdens, as well as the burdens of loss, paid off. With Sebastion Marmaduke claiming credit for the expulsion of demons, all was well in Valhassa. The people rejoiced and welcomed their new leader. When selecting his advisors, among the decision to implant Callisto Granburn, he would select those who helped immensely in the war efforts. And thus, the du le Dolche family was finally rewarded for their valiant efforts. The surviving wing of the family, Pierce Jacob Friedric du le Dolche, was appointed as an advisor. As a young man at the time, he was immediately a sought out bachelor.

Women flocked to earn the heart of the "Blue Wolf"; a man so influential in the battle against demons. In part because of his sapphire armor, and in part because of a monumental battle in which he single-handily fought off a pack of Mauthedoogs, the name stuck. He became something of a hero in the repairing state. Eventually he picked a unique bride to be by his side, Kathputli. A strange woman of unknown origin, her beauty and devotion to the state simply won over the young lord.

Part 2: Becoming a Lady
In the following years, they were wed and started to repopulate the family. The du le Dolches had lost all other members of the family. From the patriarch, Fiyero, his wife, and Pierce's two brothers (and their families), all were slain in the attacks. Because of Pierce's prowess with armor and lance, he fought off death. When the first child was born, a son, he was immediately named after the lost patriarch, Fiyero. However, this son would die in infancy due to what some believe to be residual demonic energies in the air.

Naturally they tried again and were blessed with two daughters. The oldest of the two, a strong-willed and passionate girl, was named Marotte. The youngest, an intellectual and ladylike girl was named Marionetta. The two girls were polar opposites towards one another. Where Marionetta idolized her reserved and charming mother, Marotte tried to emulate her father. Where the eldest took to training for battle, Marionetta focused on learning history, science and the finest arts of conversation. Eventually, the distance between the two sisters would grow to a point where there was little speaking between them.

Where Pierce focused his energies raising the budding warrior in his daughter Marotte, Marionetta more closely bonded to her mother, Kathpulti. Marionetta absolutely adored and idolized her mother. To the girl, her mother was as elegant as any queen from the storybooks of Skylessia.

At the young age of five, Marionetta was already starting to display the behaviors of a lady-of-the-house. She often held tea parties in which she'd invite the neighboring noble daughters of the other advisors. Though her group of friends varied in age, they were always willing to sit down to tea and scones, thereby emulating the women that they hoped to grow to be. At least, they shared common goals until Marionetta matured.

At the age of nine, she started to look outside of the nobles for interaction. While the women of high society were much to be desired, she couldn't help but wonder what the outside world held. She would look outside her door and watch the servants' children play amongst each other. Young girls played amongst their male counterparts; this all seemed so... strange. She began to wonder, "Why do they play around so wrecklessly? Aren't they worried about dirtying their blouses? And playing with boys?" She watched with hidden interest, knowing full well what her society would think of a girl with her status muddying her dress. This was explicitly enforced by her mother, who would vocally scoff at how uncivilized the daughters of the servants were. "If they act like boys, they'll never find husbands. Right, dear?" Despite being directed towards the servants daughters, this was a jab at her own daughter, Marotte's, masculinity. Because Marionetta idolized her mother more than anything, she agreed with her mother.

Any interest she would have in the outside world would have to remain hidden. Her mother certainly wouldn't approve of her daughter befriending anyone who didn't hold an important bloodline. In time, her mothers prejudices would be replicated in her own behavior. The servants she once admired and watched from afar, she was now forced to reject. It pained her to be so cruel, but it would have to be. At least, until she turned fourteen.

Julius, the son of Kathpulti's head butler, began to replace his father for a few weeks. The older man had earlier succumbed to a strange illness known as the "peasant's plague" by the nobles. As the man suffered, Julius agreed to take over his father's role, despite being a youth himself. The long hours and the arduous duties of keeping the matriarch pleased kept the young man busy. While working, he noticed the striking beauty that was the youngest daughter of the house. Despite his best efforts to combat it, he began to fall for her beauty and charm. Though he would never act on it, he would stare at her from afar while working.

"Boy. Come here." Marionetta would call to Julius after catching him staring at her. He feared a reprimand, or at worst a potential firing. But instead, Marionetta responded much differently. "What about me is striking you so? My figure is artificial, my palor is painted on, and my attire is hand-crafted. If you wish to compliment those things, you --" She began to start. At that age, she began to grow into her femininity. No longer solely attracting female friends, she was starting to find herself batting away male suitors. All of whom liked her most artificial features.

"It's your eyes." Julius interrupted. She abruptly stopped talking, staring at him with her head tilted. "What?. . . My eyes?"

"They convey such natural beauty, rivaling the roaring seas and sparkling moon. They speak to real beauty in your soul, and no amount of crafting can fake that." She swooned at his words. The interest he had in her was incredibly genuine. Thus began a relationship so controversial, that they could never speak about it openly.

Their months long relationship ended in cruelty inflicted by the matriarch herself. Using the excuse of a stolen necklace, she arrested the youth on the baseless grounds of theft. Despite his proclamations of innocence, the Holy Emperor's dungeon master was more willing to believe the word of a high ranking lady. "But he's innocent!" Marionetta tried to protest with her mother, but to no avail.

"Dear. Haven't I warned you about associating with people of lower caliber?" Kathpulti chided while brushing her hair back, revealing the very necklace she claimed to be missing. Marionetta wanted to scream;cry;hit her mother. Anything. But she just nodded to her mother's words.

"Don't trust anyone in this world, dear. As a woman, you have so much to give. Your love, your life, your children. And there are plenty of dastards willing to take it."

"Mother. . . Do you love father?" This question made the exotic Kathpulti's eyebrows raise. She turned to her daughter and placed her hand upon her shoulder.

"No. I feel nothing when I lie with him. He's just a vessel for acquiring wealth and a stable life. It's an ugly truth that we all masquerade as 'love.' It doesn't exist, and you'd do best to accept that."

"Mother. . . Do you love me, then?" Tears began to welt up in the daughter's eyes, but she struggled and craned her head to avoid them from flowing.

" Darling." She held her daughter up close to her breast. "How could you even ask that? Of course I care for you. You're my flesh and blood. This is why I teach you the truth. Other women would sooner lie to their daughters about love than admit the truths to themselves. It's pathetic. The only real love that I've ever felt was toward you."

Marionetta heeded her mothers words. As far as she understood, marriage wasn't for love. There wouldn't be a knight on a white horse that would take her hand and whisk her off to have wonderful children. None of that was true. To be a real lady, you must understand that your gifts were used as tools. The real test of a lady's worth was the power she could obtain in her lifetime.

Part 3: It all ends here
As an advisor to the Emperor, Pierce was kept in high regard when the country held discussions. Pierce learned everything from Marmaduke's side. He learned what issues the country befaced. He heard the people's requests for new systems, or new ideas. Genuinely interested in helping his countrymen, Pierce brought these issues right to Marmaduke himself. Much to du la Dolche's pleasure, the Emperor seemed just as passionately interested in aiding the people as well.

However, not everything was as simple and perfect as that. Among the selection of advisors, Pierce was uncommonly disliked. Seen as a brute who'd rather dirty his hands in demon-slaying, rather than in knowledge, the other advisors often spoke ill of the man. Despite the common practice of flinging political mud at each other, du le Dolche was untouchable. He was the heroic "Blue Wolf," and was much loved by the citizenry.

So much so, that Marmaduke kept him as his second most coveted advisor, directly behind Callisto Granburn. Whether this was based on actual trust, or obligation, du le Dolche was kept purposefully ignorant.

This blissful ignorance would change one night. While in a private meeting between the Emperor and Granburn, their discussion turned to dark topics. These topics would shake the entire society of Valhassa to their very cores. Pierce, while rushing in unannounced to present an urgent piece of news to the Emperor, stood outside in absolute shock. His mouth hung open with horror, revulsion, even disbelief. Certainly he could not have been serious about what was just said.

Suddenly, Pierce heard movement in the meeting room. His warrior senses kicked back in, and Pierce bolted from the area. He wasn't sure if they had been aware of his presence, but he sure hoped not. He would be in danger. His family would be in danger.

The following days were strife with panic. He never knew if the Emperor's army would burst into their estate and imprison the family. He didn't know if his hiring of a merchant ship would be noticed by the other advisors. The act alone conflicted with Valhassa's isolationist policies. All he could do was bide his time and play the act. All, of course, while keeping his family safely ignorant of the horrors he'd heard.
- - -
Knock Knock Knock. The ominous rattling at the door awoke the lord and his family. While they scratched their eyes and headed for the door, Pierce knew exactly what that noise meant. He was found out. They knew he knew what they were keeping so dreadfully secret. With the utmost horror, he shuffled his family out of the door and into the harbor. There, awaiting them was the merchant boat. Having arrived a mere half day beforehand, the happenstance was incredible.

"Go my family! They're ruthless monsters! You've no idea what they're capable of!" Pierce cried out as he readied his armor. Marotte, the strongest daughter, took hold of her mother and sister and lead their party out the back of the castle.

"Mother, what has father done? Why must we run?" Marionetta questioned why the nobility they had been so close with was suddenly coming to claim them. I don't care what father has done, Emperor Marmaduke can't be sending his men for no reason. They just have to listen to us if we cooperate. The must! Marionetta broke her hand free from her sister's and ran back towards the castle.

She glanced one last time at her mother, hoping to see her mother share her sentiments, only to see her completely disappear. "Mother!?" Suddenly she felt a tight grip wrap around her arm. "Ow! I'm complacent, I surrender. Just please do not treat me so brusquely ."

Marionetta, along with her father were jailed by the royal guard. Going from a place of high nobility to that of a prisoner was devastating for the young woman. She blamed her father for their situation and refused his attempts to contact her. For all she cared, he was a traitor to the Emperor, and she had the unfortunate coincidence of being his offspring. Any other girl would have lamented the situation, but her mother's influence still sounded in her head. As a woman, you have so much to give. . . and there are plenty willing to take it.

"Dungeon master, if you would grant me one request." She begged the guard with a pitiful voice. She feigned weakness, tears, anything she could think of to garner sympathy. He looked right into her sullen blue eyes, completely enticed by her siren song. Per her request, he arranged for a private meeting between the girl and some high ranking advisors to the Emperor.

After replaying her previously utilized sympathetic act, she garnered some support from the older men. These men, most of whom had personally watched the young girl's birth, were now the judges for her life. One particular advisor, Fallon Fargus, took special interest in the girl.

Personally paying the young girl's pardon was effectively paying for her hand in marriage. Marionetta knew her best option was to align herself to her largest supporter and one of the most powerful men she could think of. Despite the age gap of thirty-two years, the pair were wed just a few months after her pardon from jail.

Part 4: Bouquet and Bloodshed

The marriage to her husband was entirely devoid of love; just as Kathpulti has promised it would be. Her husband saw her as a beautiful toy that he could play with whenever he pleased. To him, she was a replacement bride after his first two fell in their youth. To her, he was just a means of survival. Like her mother before her, she feigned her love for her husband, and in turn, he reciprocated his affections in wealth.
On multiple occasions, he would enter her chambers, often drunk, and violate his new bride. Claiming he wished for an heir after multiple failed attempts with his previous wife, he would try continuously with Marionetta. Though she didn't enjoy any of his advances, she knew she had to relent and hope a pregnancy stuck. If she bore him children, perhaps she could feel the love that her mother felt towards her. She would want for nothing else in her lifetime if she could find something that would give her the love that she had given her mother. And with my child, I would never leave her to rot away in a jail cell.

Throughout her married life, she was pregnant three times, each lasting less than an initial trimester. With each successive miscarriage, her husband would become angrier and angrier. His frustrations began to turn violent.

Though it was absolutely never mentioned to either one of them, talk began to spread about the abuse that Marionetta suffered. Some nobles thought he was an absolute monster; others thought that as a traitor's daughter, she'd gotten what she deserved. Regardless of the case, Marionetta conceals any feelings of hurt under her facade. Acting the part, she hoped, would make her eventually be what she emulated.

Part 5: Current Day
Using her husband's wealth and using his transgressions against her, she has leaned on him enough to allow her to travel to her hearts content. So long as he has mistresses to keep his tempers satiated, Marionetta is free to have free reign of the country. This travel fulfills her childhood curiosities of the world, and makes her seem cultured amongst her friends.

Additional Notes/Comments:
~Marionetta was born the youngest daughter of a former advisor to Emperor Marmaduke. However, her father overheard a dark secret and was discovered, effectively being labelled a traitor. Unlike her sibling, Marotte, she completely believes her father is guilty and repremands him for his trechery.
~Marionetta grew up with a mother who's cruelity towards those of a lower class was influential in Marionetta's development. She was also taught that her sexuality and femininity were mere tools for securing a husband with power. She currently has no belief in true love, though that will hopefully change.
~She holds a grudge against her father for his transgressions, her mother for abandoning her mid-battle, and a much more hidden jealousy of her sister Marotte.
~She has no idea about her sibling's whereabouts, or the fact that she now lives as the male "Fiyero."
~She is involved in a physically abusive relationship with her husband. Though at first she seems completely happy and narcissistic, it masks a deeper pain inside of her.
Mod Notes: Click Here To Show/Hide This Text

-I lifted some of the shared history that Marionetta has with her sibling Fiyero. I changed it where it was appropriate.
-She doesn't believe her father at all when he proclaims his innocence, and is completely ignorant to this "dark secret" her father mentions but never states.
-There is an intentional disconnect between Kathpulti stating that she loves her, then abandoning her during battle. It will actually be a self made plot point later on in her life.

Summary: Fiyero is a very simple man in his demeanor. Battle-hardened, yet cheerful and sociable. The men in his army are pleased to not only call him a commander, but a friend as well. When outside of battle, people are immediately drawn to his kind eyes and jovial nature. To his men, he is very quick to make jokes or otherwise socialize in a boundary-breaking fashion. To the ladies, he acts nothing short of chivalrous. His soft nature towards women, unbefitting of a brawler's, comes across as strange. His men, though they would never admit this to his face, have raised questions as to why Fiyero does not pursue the barmaids like they would.

However, his open book personality shuts immediately once the topic of his past surfaces. A boy who not more than a few years ago joined the army, he has already found himself commanding a small squadron of soldiers. People wonder where he came from, and receive only dismissive answers. "A farm in the north.", "Somewhere up by the waters." These vague answers are all he's ever revealed about his past. No mention of family or lovers have ever sprung from his lips.

In terms of appearance, Fiyero is deceptively strong. It is a true testiment to his strength that he is able to wear the aqua armor that he is trademarked to. His facial build is soft and fair, devoid of any facial hair. His eyes are large and doe-eyed. When he announces his age, 24, people struggle to believe him. Certainly he must be but a boy. But, what he doesn't show in person, he shows on the field.

When he enters the battlefield, a switch flips. He stops being the kind, boisterous man he once was, and becomes a soldier. Impaling the enemy without any remorse, it's almost as if he's taking some anger out on the unfortunate enemy who crosses his path.

Appearance: Standing in at a mere 5'5 feet (165.10) meters, and weighing only 145 pounds (65.7 kilograms), Fiyero is not an imposing figure at all. His soft, close-shaven face, as well as large doe eyes, do nothing to combat his meek appearance. His body build is toned for a fighter, but lithe for a knight. His armor does well to cover up the build of his body. The dark sapphire armor gives him bulk in his shoulders and chest, where it would usually be svelte and womanly. His head is covered by a matching blue helmet. Usually it is left open when outside of battle. But when he enters battle, the covered helm does nothing to differentiate himself from his squad. To the enemy, he is just as much of a man as the rest of them. Armor adorns his legs as well, protecting from battle's low blows (which are often literal low blows.)

His face, as immediately noticed, is very childish. His large blue eyes capture the hearts of many maidens (and in one peculiar case, that of a fellow male soldier). His nose is small and petite, owing much to a familial influence. His jawline is soft, leaving a very female quality to his face. His hair, a lusterous blond, is kept hidden underneath his helm. Occasionally he takes it off, revealing a short shaggy mat of blonde hair. His skin matches the light hair he is bestowed with, a lightly sun-kissed skin which betrays his duties as a soldier. In part, this is due to his helmed covering his face and shielding him from the sun. In another part, this is also due to the pale genetics his mother bestowed on him at birth.

Bio: At least a paragraph.  Where was your character born?  How did they grow up?  What helped to shape him/her into the person they are today?

Fiyero, despite his best attempts to convince otherwise, was not born on a farm. Nor was he born anywhere within Azgarth. In fact, every single aspect about his current identity is one giant fabrication. For, Fiyero was not always what he seemed.

Part 1: The Demon Wars of Valhassa
Fiyero was born Marotte Francesca Leonna du le Dolche. If the name doesn't read as male, it isn't. Fiyero was born the daughter in a noble household. He wasn't born the son of a farmer, who eventually turned into soldier. He was born the sheltered daughter of a nobleman and advisor an Emperor.

The du le Dolche family has had their hands intertwined in Valhassa's history. As remnants of a former nobility, the du le Dolches managed to stand beside their Holy Emperor, Sebastion Marmaduke, and offer exceptional aid in liberating the state from demons.

Part 2: Marotte's Death; Fiyero's Birth

Where the youngest took to studies, Marotte took to trying to strengthen her lance hand. Eventually, the distance between the two sisters would grow to a point where there was little speaking between them.

Pierce was overjoyed at the progress Marotte made with her lancework. Even at the age of five, the girl displayed tremendous skill with her weapon. Soon she would be taught to carry the weight of armor, hold her lance, and watch for enemy attack all at once. Pierce spared her no mercy, but truly cared for his daughter's development. It appeared that the "Blue Wolf" finally had a cub.
As Marotte progressed towards her teenage years, she started to understand feelings she'd grappled with her whole life. When she looked at her father, she didn't see a man she one day hoped to find in her future husband. Instead, she wanted to be him. She admired his masculinity, and even envied it. She tried to shed any femininity that she was born with and adopt male traits. She cut her hair (against her sister's horrified pleas), she wore male clothing. Other than her natural structures, she looked little like a developing lady.

Her desire to be a man also manifested in her sexual development as well. Where a woman would be practicing courtly love, and would be playing coy with a dapper young man, Marotte was different. She developed feelings for other women, in a way she struggled to understand. Why would fate cast her in a female body if she felt like a man on the inside? Her struggles to understand what her strange warped view of her gender was, went unnoticed by the majority of the family. Her mother thought the brutish phase would end soon enough, and she would be a lady as her sister was becoming. Her father, however, understood what his child was going through.

Though he personally couldn't relate to the emotional struggles, he understood his daughter's desires to be a man. She confided this in him personally. Rather than be revolted, as his wife and other daughter (not to mention general society) would certainly be, he accepted his son for who he was. Between them, when no one else was in the room, Pierce called his son by a male name: "Fiyero." The name of the former patriarch would be adopted by Marotte only when they were in private.

Part 3: The Father's Fight

Before leaving, Fiyero made one desperate plea for with his father.

"Please father. Let me fight along side you. Whatever wrong has transpired can surely be reasoned with. I can help, I know I can." The boy begged to no avail. His father made it clear that he was to climb aboard the merchant ship as a runaway. Before parting, the men shared parting words and an exchange of gifts. Fiyero received his father's priced lance, the Reginleif, and Pierce received a small keepsake, a small gold bracelet. And with that, the boy bid his father goodbye.

Exiting a south side entrance, the boy and his family raced outside towards the boat, only to face direct opposition from soldiers who has planned a backward assault. Using his father's teachings, Fiyero dispatched the soldiers with his lancework. Unbenonst as of that moment, Fiyero received a weakening blow to the abdomen. As the group raced onto the dock, Kathputli and Marionetta were clutched from the enemy's grip. Not looking back, Fiyero raced onto the boat and shouted for the men to steer away. It was only as the boat had disembarked did he realize his family wasn't there.

"Men, what are you doing? Turn this boat back instantly at once! My sister and mother have fallen to their clutches." The boy protested only to be met by the merchant's duties. Being told to embark immediately after they boarded, they were not to turn around for anything. The merchant simply understood this to mean that they weren't to turn back for any stragglers. Fiyero meant to protest, but the wound in his stomach made his eyes cloud over. He fainted on the dock, unconciously leaving behind his kin on Valhassa.

Part 4: The Soldier

Upon awakening, the boy found himself in strange territory. Having seldom left Valhassa, he would suddenly awaken in a strange new surrounding: Azgarth.

The merchants, though originally from Marcellus, had taken base in Azgarth. Upon landing, the merchants coldly tossed the boy aside in an inn and paid minimal coin for his upkeep. Upon leaving him in alien territory, the men took off.

When he awoke, the maid running the inn looked at him with grave curiosity. After undressing the man and tending to his wounds, she found that he was no man at all. He was a woman, one that the maiden developed unexplainable feeling for. Perhaps it was luck, perhaps it was fate, but the maid fostered Fiyero,(who had explained in full his desire to be considered a man) and found him work with her brother in the town. He started his work for a solid few months. During that time, he lived with the maiden at the inn. Earning his own keep from his job, plus the occasional aid around the Inn, he was finally settled. He had a lovely life there. Friends from the regular transients at the inn, family he'd been graciously accepted into; everything was perfect... and yet lacking. As a lumberer, he held an axe daily, swinging at trees. This made him miss the touch and feel of his lance, the armor he'd worn proudly, and the excitement battle brought.

As he worked in town, he noticed adds placed on the Azgarthian military. Due to their increasing interest in the unexplored lands, they found increasing need for numbers. Mages, the famous soldiers from the Azgarthian country, were needed to be supplemented with physical fighters. This was the call he'd been searching for. He didn't know how to tell his maiden this advancement. She'd previously snubbed his desires to fight for the local sheriff, stating that if they were to be wed, he had to be completely safe. She'd absolutely refuse for him to be sent by the army to the unexplored lands. That's why he did what he had to do.

Finding the call of the battlefield too appealing, he packed his belongings and left for the nearest recruitment center. All unbeknownst to his bride-to-be, and explained poorly in a written letter. Though he promised to return to her one day, that did little to ease her heartbreak.

At the recruitment center, Fiyero was immediately laughed at. Someone of his feminine stature had no right to be on a battlefield, especially against the unknown. Fiyero struggled to convince them of his potential. No matter what line he fed them, they would just scoff at him and try to shoe him away. However, someone was sympathetic to his desires. General Damian Blanchard happened to hear the pleas. On his way out, Fiyero was stopped by General Blanchard, who asked the boy to grip his lance. A strange request, but Fiyero did as asked by the towering and impressively built general. And with that, the general's eyes beamed.

"Boy. Who taught you to grip a lance like that? Your hands are strongly fastened on the shaft. I doubt I could shake your grip with an axe." The compliment wasn't an empty one. It came with an immediate offer to join General Blanchard's experimental excursion into the uncharted lands. With the inclusion of Fiyero and the general himself, the group would consist of eight men.

They departed for the unchartered lands that very week. Excitement, passion, energy. All of these emotions were readily available in abundance from the excited crew of soldiers. As they landed ashore the alien lands, they were all immediately enticed. General Blanchard himself was even jovial.

However, their good fortune would not last for long. As soon as they were settled into their new lives of excitement, they came across a feared demon. A gigantic spider crawled its way into their encampment in the dead of night. As the soldier struggled to escape their tents, the spider simply crushed the men beneath it's massive legs. Only a few men survived long enough to even get armed and attempt to fight the savage beast. It's poisonous fangs pierced the men's armor and injected it's toxins into their hearts. In battle, Fiyero arrived in time to see his master and comrades fall beside him. It would be up to him now.

Fiyero took a running charge with his shield extended outward. The spider tried to grip his shield and shake it from Fiyero's hand, but he maintained his grip. Gaining the much needed distance, Fiyero plunged his lance directly into the belly of beast, slaying it. With that action, Fiyero emulated the man he'd always aspired to be: His father.

General Blanchard, though horribly wounded, would survive the battle and praise the valiant efforts of Fiyero. The army instantly realized his potential and placed him on more expositions to the alien lands. Because of the sheer size of the spider, one that had rarely been encountered (and much more rarely survived), Fiyero was exalted by his soldiers as a hero.

After excursion and excursion, his talents became increasingly more refined and wanted. It seemed only fitting that he be given a promotion to a commander. Flattered doesn't even come close to describing how the young man felt. His life's goal was slowly coming to a realization. He was becoming a man, just like his father always wanted for him.

After three years of traveling back and forth from the terrifying marshes of the unexplored lands and the frontlines in Azgarth, he was given a solid platoon to watch over. Much like the general before him, Fiyero had utmost control over where his platoon was stationed, what they fought and where they went. In a sense, he was an agent, able to travel wherever the Azgarthian army needed a strong upper-hand.

Part 5: Current Day
Today Fiyero and his selectively chosen platoon are stationed in Azgarth. Readily awaiting orders, they hone their skills daily, awaiting a situation to call for the specialties of Fiyero, captain of "The Blue Wolves."

Additional Notes/Comments:
~ Fiyero was not born with his chosen name. Nor was he born with his chosen gender. He was born Marotte, a female from Valhassa. She is not a cross dresser, nor is the male identity a ruse. She is transgendered and identifies fully with being a male.
~In terms of sexuality, he identifies as a straight male. Which means he is attracted to straight women. Another man has no sexual appeal to the knight. A lesbian may or may not be attracted to him physically, though it is doubtful since he embodies a straight male with feminine features.
~He is a runaway noble and advisor's son from Valhassa. He joined the Azgarthan army after fleeing there and craving the call of battle.
~He earned an incredible reputation in the Azgarth army for his excursions into the unexplored lands. In particular, he was one of the first people to slay a giant spider, a feat which earned him commemoration.
~Currently he travels with a small fleet of two other soliders: a Valiant named Elphaba Flynt, and a Brawler named Dmytri Calecgos. They are his closest friends and battle-hardened allies.

-I left the deep dark secret revealed about the Emperor very vague. I don't want to go against character and attribute something to a character that isn't mine. If I may, I'd like to reveal this secret in a game changing RP, but that won't be for miles down the road. At that point I hope you guys can trust my abilities in storytelling.
-Elphaba and Dmytri, the soldiers that accompany Fiyero, will be NPCs that I will include in my Rps from time to time. They wont have major roles, and I will try to keep their involvement a believable minimum. (ie: Have they split up and fight a different group of enemies.)
-I hope his gender identity and sexuality don't pose a problem in this RP. I really think he can add to the story without having a focus be on these aspects. I never want my characters to be defined by their sexuality. They should be defined by their actions, not things that they cannot change.

Height: 5'11 (71 Inches Tall)/ 1.80 Meters
Build: Brolic
(IMG:http://i1023.photobucket.com/albums/af356/Sylvia_Wolf/Mugs%20Battle%20Overworld%20Sprites/MagdalenaMugTransparent.gif)
Appearance: Standing in at 5'11, Magda easily towers over every woman she's ever come across. In fact, she also towers over most men. Only the Ganelon Bandits, her tribe of people, match her height. Her muscle mass is also not matched by many others. Her arms are thick, massive trunks from which her muscles bulge.

Her outfit is a very standard brawler's garb. She wears two bronze shoulder pads as well as a matching chest piece for protection. Despite the number of scratches in the alloy itself, it still holds together. Underneath it, she wears a ruby red one piece dress, pinned together with animal ivory. The dress itself ends at her upper thigh, revealing her muscular legs. These long, powerful legs end in her simple brown hiking boots.

This is all when she isn't wearing her brown cloak. When she is, you couldn't make out her heavy set face or her long raven hair. Her hair is styled up in a functional high ponytail. It keeps her hair out of her dark red eyes and off of her wide-set face. She isn't considered an ugly woman, but her face is pretty chubby.

Overview: Despite initial appearances, Magda does not act like a typical mountain brute. Yet at the same time, she doesn't act like a typical woman. On one hand, she is staunchly against attacking defenseless villages for loot and doesn't condone unnecessary violence. On the other, she is crude, loud and drinks with the rest of her men.

She is very quick to befriend and negotiate. She's especially comfortable around men, who she can share a nice ale and stories with. With women, she finds they share little in common. She's not actively seeking a suitor, nor does she care about the latest court gossip or fashions.

Instead, what interests her are few things; battle and brew being at the top of that list. Conversely, despite her battle-hardened personality, she is incredibly maternal to her allies. She places the needs of her bandit brethren over her own; almost to a self-detrimental level.

Biography: The Ganelon Bandits, formerly nestled on the Sacae/Bern border, always had a reputation for being violent marauders. Despite their claims that they were better then their rivals, the Taliver, the Ganelon Bandits had just as much animosity from the villagers as any other bandit clan. It didn't help that the primarily male group would often kidnap young women to serve as ransom, or worse; brides. The result of one such union, Magda was born the sole female from a family of seven.

When the former head of the bandits, Bug, died to Lyndis' Legion on the Bern border, the Ganelon spiraled down to chaos. Leadership would abruptly be snatched from the cold, dead hands of the former head, only to be taken right back from a younger and more powerful warrior. Eventually, the leadership was held by Magda's father Brent.

Brent would hold the leadership for two dozen years, fathering seven children with three different women. One of the children would be Magda. Despite being female, her father placed no lower expectations on her than he did any of his six sons. She would train with axes daily, earning the right to be called a Brigand of the Ganelon.
Eventually, Brent would succumb to illness and the Ganelon would once again be in disarray. Magda, a diplomatic and sincere negotiator, would win over the majority of the bandits and gained their support to usurp leadership from her older brothers. However, one brother would challenge her to a duel to the death. Far beyond reason, she had no choice but to fight her kin, splitting him with her Francisca.

Today, she had held leadership for around seven years. It's her duty to change the reputation of the Ganelon bandits. A former group of thieves and ruffians, she now targets only those who are corrupt and abuse their powers. Taking inspiration from tales of the Black Fang, she hopes to change a group of savages into a group of heroic raiders. But this won't be an easy struggle.
