Insighting troubadour upgrades, I'm sure I'm not the only one with queries about this.

How do you, effectively, create a War medic/Valkyrie/Holy Kn. that has 34 luck...
What I'm saying is, how can you create a troubadour upgrade with enough luck to always insight, and yet doesn't have some major weak point? (Without making it a lord)
Considering the low HP, Res and Def scores of a troubadour, they can't become tanky enough to not be OHKO'd unless you spend a large amount on all those stats, which, if you still have the 34 luck, you don't have enough left to make its attack worth having the insight in the first place.
Therefore you have to instead raise the speed to 27 to eradicate the possibility of pursuit, of course we aren't counting pegi-mages in that, which, although they have 5 less attack, are, well, impossible to stop pursuiting you.
They deal 5 less damage though, so we can count 10 less total damage from pursuit, which means that we would still have to raise the HP of the character. This, again, locks us in not having enough points to put up the luck to 34.
So, how do you, without making your character a lord, make your troubadour upgrade a reliable insighter? (emphasis on the 'reliable')

Dodgetanking is the only way, so far as I know. Or make it a SingleTank, but even then, it isn't very effective.

Non-lorded Troubadors can usually reach 29-30 LCK; depending on the nature.

Take Amalda (Valkyrie), and Agape (Soon-to-be Holy Knight) for examples.

Troubadour -> Valkyrie [Offencive]
Stats at level 20/20
HP [0/0%]: 42.00
POW [2/20%]: 30.00
SKL [0/0%]: 21.00
SPD [2/17.5%]: 30.00
DEF [0/0%]: 11.00
RES [0/0%]: 15.00
LCK [2/2.5%]: 29.00

Troubadour -> Holy Kn. [Glass Cannon]
Stats at level 20/20
HP [1/0%]: 40.00
POW [2/17.5%]: 30.00
SKL [0/0%]: 21.00
SPD [2/10%]: 30.00
DEF [0/0%]: 12.00
RES [0/0%]: 14.00
LCK [1/12.5%]: 30.00

But if you're doing a lorded one; this can max out that 35 LCK; or at least reach 34!

Troubadour -> Holy Kn. [Glass Cannon]
Stats at level 20/20
HP [2/15%]: 54.00
POW [2/17.5%]: 30.00
SKL [0/7.5%]: 24.00
SPD [2/10%]: 30.00
DEF [0/0%]: 12.00
RES [0/0%]: 14.00
LCK [2/20%]: 34.00

Troubadour -> War Medic [Offencive]
Stats at level 20/20
HP [2/17.5%]: 60.00
POW [2/15%]: 30.00
SKL [0/0%]: 20.00
SPD [2/20%]: 30.00
DEF [0/0%]: 12.00
RES [0/0%]: 14.00
LCK [2/17.5%]: 35.00

My war med is like this:

Troubadour -> War Medic [Gladiator]
Stats at level 20/20
HP [0/0%]: 42.00
POW [2/15%]: 30.00
SKL [0/0%]: 16.00
SPD [2/7.5%]: 25.00
DEF [0/0%]: 16.00
RES [0/0%]: 14.00
LCK [2/17.5%]: 35.00
Insight/Pursuit ( = pur-sight)

as for faster, yet still reliable insighters:

Troubadour -> Valkyrie [Offencive]
Stats at level 20/20
HP [0/0%]: 42.00
POW [2/20%]: 30.00
SKL [0/0%]: 21.00
SPD [2/10%]: 27.00
DEF [0/0%]: 11.00
RES [0/0%]: 15.00
LCK [2/10%]: 32.00
Pur-sight

Troubadour -> Holy Kn. [Offencive]
Stats at level 20/20
HP [0/0%]: 42.00
POW [2/17.5%]: 30.00
SKL [0/0%]: 21.00
SPD [2/12.5%]: 27.00
DEF [0/0%]: 12.00
RES [0/0%]: 14.00
LCK [2/10%]: 32.00
Pur-sight

Doesn't get pursuited by much, and you'd have to abuse their mobility/semi-dodginess to survive.

Ah...

What I didn't think of was a dodge tank.
Although I was correct in assuming it's impossible to make a reliable troub upgrade.
Because although Dodge tanks can be useful...

I prefer not to use them, as they have, like crit masters, more of a luck base than most other classes.
That being said I hate, hate HATE facing them, so I guess I could squeeze one into my squad.

Pairi says hi.

Ashura also says hi.

Troubs are one of the better classes in the game, thanks to mobility and staves and really stupidly high luck. They're hard to wrath if you put the full investment of luck in them.

Lords can also make great first-strike units.

Troubadour -> Valkyrie [Offencive]
Stats at level 20/20
HP [0/0%]: 42.00
POW [2/20%]: 30.00
SKL [2/17.5%]: 30.00
SPD [2/17.5%]: 30.00
DEF [0/0%]: 11.00
RES [0/0%]: 15.00
LCK [2/15%]: 34.00
Wrath/Pursuit

Critting, never missing, AND dodging. Think about that for a moment.

Yeah, I already figured out that troubs only go well as dodge tanks.

problem is, I tend not to like people who can be OHKO'd, even if most of my first team could be. (Due to zip investment in HP)

And cap wise, troubs are probably the most powerful unit in the game, but I don't like their base stat distribution, so I only tend to use them moderately. (That being said, I have 2 troubs and 1 cleric as all the healers I've made.)

War Medics only need 40 HP to not be OHKOed... Holy Knights get the short end of the stick, but...

No, I don't count Peg knight pursuits with 50% chains with an S rank as a OHKO.

Troubadour -> War Medic [Glass Cannon]

Short end of the stick? They're still effective; they just need 2 more HP. (42 survives a WT3 Halberd)
