It is my understanding that there are a crapload of Nintendo fans on FE Planet. However, did you know that Mario and Zelda used to be TV shows when the first games came out? They were AWESOME! I own the entire Season 2 of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, and the show rocks. It's actually funny, and it's a great way to know more about Nintendo. However, The Legend of Zelda wasn't as good. Anyone else know about 'em?

I have the three DVD set of all 13 Zelda episodes. I got it for my birthday last year. It's way sweet.

I don't like the Zelda show. First off, his catch phrase: "Hey, excuuuuuse me, Princess!". I hate that. Also, should he even be talking? Second, he never physically attacks enemies, only blasts them with his swordy-lasery-thingy. Third, the dialogue is cheesy, and they do a poor job of capturing action. Since when does Link wear polka-dot boxers?

I vaguely remember having a video tape of the Mario cartoon when I was little. And when I grew up, I tried finding it, and couldn't. IT WAS THE BEST!

That's the only reason why I wanna watch the cartoon.

Mario Show was pretty fun and wacky.

Anyone remember Captain N? Now that one was crazy stuff, from what I've read.

No, what is it?

It's some cartoon with a lot of characters from old NES games, like Mega Man, Simon Belmont and the Mother Brain.

The thing is, they aren't exactly as you see them today.

For starters, Mega Man wants to be a real boy.

I have the first season/part on DVD. I watched some of it with some friends.

Seeing Mouser cry in episode 2 was just hilarious.

I'll have to watch it. Also, does anyone remember the Donkey Kong Country TV show? That was an awesome show, but it would have been better without the fricking songs.

I gave a VHS to my friend for a Christmas gift. It was priced at $3.

He loved it, nonetheless. Or so I could tell when he hugged me tightly.

I like when he loses his memory, and thinks he's an alligator. That was funny.

I loved the Mario Bros super show! Hilarious! by the way, did any of you guys happen to catch the other Mario cartoons? Super Mario All Stars (the one with Yoshi) and a Super Mario Bros 3 cartoon. I loved them all! Then the network thought that it was a bright idea to replace them with other cartoons. I was peeved.

I never saw the Zelda cartoon until recently. It was hilarious! It's a must watch, just for laughs.

I liked the Donkey Kong cartoon, but I only saw it for a week before it was canned. Poop.

I saw a couple of these. The generation was before me, so I never actually saw all of it. It was pretty awesome. B)
