What are FETO campaigns?
FETO campaigns are essentially user-generated series of maps with specific objectives. Generally, you won't be on an equal footing, in terms of unit numbers, and there'll also be one powerful boss unit, as you'd expect from a Fire Emblem game. You can also obtain items from doing specific things, more enemies may spawn, there can be NPC units, and all sorts of things.

Are campaigns single-player?
No, they aren't. The campaign's creator, and anyone else they choose, control the enemy units. Green NPC units are stationary, and cannot be moved, however.

How do I play a campaign?
The first thing you need to do is submit a "campaign session request" to the campaign of your choice. You may only have one campaign session open at a time. When one of the designated enemy players accepts (or rejects) your request, you will be notified via PM, and then asked to enter your characters, as well as equip them. Character levels (and potentially weapon levels as well) are adjusted as per the creator's specification.

Which characters do I use in campaigns?
You enter your own characters, which are copied for the purpose of the campaign, just like in tournaments. This means you can continue to use them in d2d battles while they're in the campaign, and anything that happens in or out of the campaign (exp, promotion, class changes, etc.) doesn't affect the other.

How long are campaigns?
This is entirely up to the creator. There's no set limit on how long or short they can be.

Is there permadeath in campaigns?
No, there is not - units who fall in combat will be available at the start of the next map. However, unit deaths, and a variety of other statistics will be tracked, and there will be high score boards for each campaign.

What rewards are there for completing a campaign?
All characters who enter a campaign get a medal, just like in tournaments, for clearing it, and also you are awarded a trophy. Furthermore, experience your units gain throughout the campaign is recorded, and a portion is rewarded upon completion as bonus experience, for you to use on your normal characters.

How do I make a campaign?
First, you need to send me a message regarding your ideas for the campaign - regarding the story, and what not, and if I like it, I may let you make one.

When will campaigns be playable?
This is (mostly) entirely beyond my control! I'm not actually making one myself, so this is really up to the other members creating campaigns themselves.

What I'm wondering is, how exactly do people make campaigns once their ideas are approved by you?

Do they actually have to code everything themselves or is there some kind of special program/editor involved?

Hm... from my experience testing, units get copied and reset to level 1 for unpromoted campaigns, therefore I'm assuming promoted campaigns would likely scale to **/1. Is this something up to the campaign designer's choice, or is it automatically level scaling?

1) In terms of making the campaigns, do we make the map on an online form (like how we start maps on FETO) or do we send all information (characters that appear in battle, where the battle takes place) to you.

2) Can we manipulate the level of our units entering the battle (say I have a promoted unit and I want him to enter a nonpromoted unit battle)?
